Waking a countdown on your Lock Screen needs a push, and that push carries an anonymous identifier and two timestamps. Nothing else. The words in the countdown are filled in on your phone, because the server has never had them.

Why I built it
Reminders don't fail because you didn't know.
I missed my sister's birthday this year — a day after we had spoken about it on the phone. I knew. I just wasn't thinking about it when it counted. That gap between knowing and remembering is the entire reason the app exists.
